Stop Separating Families

I was fortunate enough to document a Solidarity Walk in Oakland. The community is standing with immigrant families that are being separated across the country. The walk took place along Grand Avenue where people stopped in front of businesses and traffic to highlight this humanitarian crisis. Along the way, we also encountered many beautiful families celebrating Father’s Day while others, as a result of this crises, are left fatherless.

This should not be a political or religious issue. This is an issue of humanity. Children should not be separated from their families because their skin color is black or brown. I hope others will do their part to make sure this issue is addressed. Injustice for one is injustice for all.
